… “Rowan Radio 89.7” WGLS Glassboro, NJ, the student-run radio station of Rowan University, celebrated its 60th anniversary on Friday, Sept. 27. “Grounded in hands-on learning, Rowan Radio embodies the university’s commitment to offering meaningful experiences outside of the classroom that foster both personal and professional growth among our students,” University President Dr. Ali Houshmand told attendees, The Whit reports. The gathering included alumni from previous classes at the school who were part of the radio station along with current student broadcasters.
