GLASSBORO - Ken Kopakowski ’79, Kelly Viseltear ’97, and Omarey Williams ‘07 will be the newest inductees into the WGLS-FM Hall of Fame on Thursday, April 28 during Rowan Radio’s annual banquet at Scotland Run Golf Club in Williamstown.

Kopakowski served as News Director and Public Service Director at WGLS-FM from 1974-79. His post-college included stops at WOBM-FM, where he was a key contributor to their award-winning news programming during the 80s and 90s. He also worked with Bloomberg LP, where he was a multimedia producer and editor and coordinated political coverage for the outlet including work at the 2000 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia.

Viseltear (nee McDowell) was a station member from 1993-97. She became a mainstay in the news department as the station’s News Director from 1995-97. She also hosted the Rowan Report, moderated numerous local debates and assisted with the station’s move from Savitz Hall to Bozorth Hall during the mid 90s. Post-graduation, Viseltear continues to enjoy success as Senior Project Manager at NFL Films, where she has won four Sports Emmys including the Chairman's award for their work on 9/11 Remembrance; and a Steve Sabol Foundation award for Creativity, Passion and Dedication 2013.

Williams, who is currently the Administrative Deputy Clerk at the Cumberland County Clerk’s Office, joined Rowan Radio in 2005. As a student, Williams held a pair of Executive Staff positions at WGLS including Rock Director (’06-’07) and Student Station Manager (’07-’08). He currently hosts Rowan Radio's award-winning talk show, the African-American Profile. Since becoming host in 2008 Williams has interviewed numerous celebrity figures and activists including Danny Glover, Pam Oliver of FOX Sports, and Harry Belafonte.

Established in 2005, the WGLS-FM Hall of Fame honors Glassboro State/Rowan graduates, who have been long-term supporters of the station and Rowan University.
