Interview with Miss America to air on Rowan Radio

Miss America Caressa Cameron will be a guest on “A Community Affair” on Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM on Monday, Sept. 27, at 5 p.m.

In a half-hour interview taped this week, Rowan graduate student Rachael Burgess, host of “A Community Affair,” talked with Cameron about her duties as Miss America and her work to promote healthy living. Cameron's Miss America platform focuses on AIDS education. She also works to promote healthy eating.

“A Community Affair,” which airs each Monday on WGLS-FM, focuses on community issues that impact the residents of Gloucester County and South Jersey.

A native of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Burgess, public affairs director at WGLS-FM, is a graduate student in public relations at Rowan. She earned her bachelor's degree in radio/television/film, magna cum laude, from Rowan in May.
