Two high school Thanksgiving games to air on Rowan Radio
Courier Post Online, November 24, 2009In what is a longstanding Turkey Day tradition for Rowan University, Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM will broadcast two big Thanksgiving Weekend high school football games.
On Thursday, the University's station will broadcast the game between rivals Clearview and Kingsway, which begins at 10:30 a.m.
On Friday, WGLS-FM will broadcast the highly anticipated Tri-County Conference Royal Division clash between two of the region's best teams: Delsea (10-0) and Williamstown (10-1). The game, which begins at 7 p.m., will decide the division champion.
WGLS-FM Assistant Station Manager Derek Jones will broadcast the game along with Rowan University men's basketball coach Joe Cassidy.
