Bridgewater resident Howard Rosenblatt will be among four alumni of Rowan University in Glassboro who honed their professional skills while working at Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM in the 1990s, who will be inducted into the station's hall of fame Sunday. A 1990 graduate of Rowan, Rosenblatt works for WPLJ in New York City.
Rosenblatt, who earned his radio/television film degree in 1990, currently serves as senior account executive at WPLJ-FM in New York City.
Rosenblatt began his radio career with WGLS in 1987. During his four years with the station, he served as training director and hard rock and metal program director. He also worked for the WGLS sports team as play-by-play man, sideline reporter and a semi-regular member of the sports talk show, "Sports Force."
Rosenblatt, who joined WPLJ in 1998, worked for stations in Franklin and Morristown before plunging into the New York City market at WAXQ-FM in 1997.
